A collection of training and resources to support Sharing Libraries using MyTurn Software.
MyTurn basics
This is a recording of an online session led by Gene Homicki of myTurn, looking at some of the basics of the software. Recorded in September 2022.
Tool Database
With support from the Share and Repair Network, Edinburgh Tool Library have created a generic database of tool descriptions, which is available for any member organisation to upload to their own MyTurn account.
The descriptions have been written by a team of Edinburgh Tool Library volunteers. The aim is that this new shared resource will help save time and resources for the wider community of Tool Libraries. The database provides a consistent format for tool descriptions, with accurate information, details of PPE required, safety advice and links to recommended YouTube videos which have been checked for quality and safety of approach.
In this short instructional video, Cecile Levavasseur from Edinburgh Tool Library explains how to import and edit the database.
Download the csv database here.
Thank you to all the volunteers involved in creating this resource.
