Circular Communities Scotland is delighted to welcome a new staff member, Alysha Cross, who joined our team as our Reuse Consortium Officer on the 24th November 2025.
Alysha will be taking on oversight of the Reuse Consortium’s operations, including impact reporting, organising and facilitating Consortium meetings and supporting our Consortium members to provide the best possible service to our Local Authority and Housing Association buyers.
Our award-winning Reuse Consortium offers Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and other Public Sector organisations easy access to a range of quality assured reuse furniture and white goods from local social enterprises, removing the need to go through a tendering process.
Alysha brings over five years’ experience of working in coordination and organisational roles for charities and environmental businesses in both Scotland and the United States.
“I am excited to join the Circular Communities Scotland team as Reuse Consortium Officer. My role is to
oversee the day-to-day operations of the successful Reuse Consortium programme. I have worked in sustainability-focused third sector organisations since completing my MSc in Environmental Sustainability.” – Alysha Cross, Reuse Consortium Officer.
With Alysha joining the Circular Communities Scotland team to support the Consortium’s operations, this will allow Nicola, our Development and Partnerships Manager, to focus on Consortium business development and pursuing possible reuse white goods supply avenues to support our Consortium members.
If you are interested in finding out more about the Reuse Consortium and how your organisation can become a buyer, please contact Nicola at nicola@circularcommunities.scot.
