SUMMARY:Circular Communities Scotland Annual Conference 2022
DESCRIPTION:Circular Communities Scotland is delighted to invite our members, supporter members, and those involved in the circular third sector in Scotland to our 2022 Annual Conference ‘Circular Solutions; Supporting Communities’.\nThis will be our first in person conference in two years, hosted at the Radisson BLU in Glasgow, and will be an amazing opportunity for the sector to come together again in one space, to reconnect with one another and network. The team and board are so excited to see our members together again. Don’t miss out, book your ticket today!\nSocial and environmental justice are two sides of the same coin, and we’re looking forward to exploring and celebrating this at our conference this year.\nOur theme, ‘Circular Solutions; Supporting Communities’, focuses on the crucial social and environmental impacts our members have in their communities, who are working to survive and thrive under the cost of living and climate crises.\nWhilst circular social enterprises and charities benefit the planet through reuse, repair and recycling, they also benefit community members by providing low-cost alternatives to buying new, volunteering, employment and local economic opportunities. Now, our members impact is more important than ever, acting as a crucial lifeline to individuals, families and communities across Scotland.\nWhat’s more, climate change can disproportionately impact those in lower income communities and countries. By working to embed a circular economy in Scotland, we can lead by example, championing a greener, fairer world for all.\nAs always, our doors will be open to our members, supporter members, and those involved in the circular third sector in Scotland.\nWe’re delighted to announce we’ll welcome back our host, Heather Reid OBE this year, and as always, we have an exciting line up of industry speakers and expert keynotes, including The Minister for Green Skills, Circular Economy and Biodiversity Ms. Lorna Slater, with diverse and engaging breakout sessions, and lots of opportunities to network and speak to exhibitors. Please view our event programme below.\nVIEW OUR FULL EVENT PROGRAMME HERE.\nBook your ticket now\n\n\n\n\n\n var exampleCallback = function() {\n console.log('Order complete!');\n };\n\n window.EBWidgets.createWidget({\n // Required\n widgetType: 'checkout',\n eventId: '407417325187',\n iframeContainerId: 'eventbrite-widget-container-407417325187',\n\n // Optional\n iframeContainerHeight: 425, // Widget height in pixels.
