Circular Communities Scotland is pleased to share our Reuse Consortium’s 2024-2025 Impact Report.

As always, the Reuse Consortium has worked this past year to ensure our services are of meaningful benefit to our hard-working members and conscientious buyers.

From April 2024 – March 2025, the Reuse Consortium has:

  • Provided reuse furniture at affordable prices to: eight local authorities, one university and one housing association.
  • Reused 6607 items of furniture.
  • Supported 3368 low-income households.
  • Diverted 284,050kg of waste from landfill.
  • Saved 761.83 tonnes of CO2.
  • Maintained 23 local jobs.
  • Facilitated purchases of a total of £911,578 for local social enterprises.
  • Saved approximately £361,307 of buyers budgets over buying new.
